Police to play sled hockey for charity

Members of the Cranberry Township Police Department and the Adams Township Police Department will play sled hockey Saturday, May 13 to raise money for Mighty Penguins Sled Hockey.

The Joyce Memorial Police Sled Hockey Fundraiser is set for 4:10 p.m. at the UPMC Lemieux Sports Complex, 8000 Cranberry Springs Drive, Cranberry Township.

Mighty Penguins Sled Hockey is an organization that gives the opportunity for disabled adults and children to experience the adapted sport of sled hockey.

The Butler County officers will compete against officers from the Pittsburgh Bureau of Police.
