Police Reports

The following items have been collected from various police departments and district courts:

Buffalo Twp

April 17 — James L. Pryor, 44, of Sarver, was charged with two counts of misdemeanor driving under the influence after police said he crashed his vehicle Feb. 18 on Bear Creek Road. Police said a later blood test showed Pryor’s blood alcohol content at 0.202%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.

April 14 — Nicholas D. Brown, 34, of Pittsburgh, was charged with misdemeanors simple assault, terroristic threats and criminal mischief and summaries harassment and disorderly conduct. Police said he broke down several doors and threatened to kill someone.

Butler City

April 15 — Richard A. Bowser II, 23, of Pittsburgh, was charged with misdemeanor trespassing after police said he went onto a condemned property.

April 14 — Zachary M. Young, 22, of Pittsburgh, was charged with misdemeanors trespassing and drug possession. Police said he was on a property after being banned and was found in possession of marijuana and THC.

April 13 — Albert J. Mastrocesare Jr., 38, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanors stalking and trespassing and summary harassment. Police said he threatened to kill multiple people and slashed the tires of their vehicle.

Jackson Twp

April 13 — Joshua S. Depasquale, 24, of Cranberry Township, was charged with a misdemeanor accident involving personal injury. Police said he ran over someone’s foot with his vehicle.

Slippery Rock University

April 17 — Benjamin R. Bechtol, 32, of New Castle, was charged with misdemeanors terroristic threats, harassment and disorderly conduct. Police said he made disturbing phone calls to the school.

State police, Butler

April 27 — A 47-year-old Cabot man was cited for multiple dog law violations after his dog killed five chickens and injured three others at the home of a 39-year-old Cabot man on Stoney Hollow Road in Winfield Township. Police didn’t identify either person.

April 25 — Summit Academy student Ethan Stoops, 18, of Union City, Erie County, was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital with injuries that resulted from a fight with a 16-year-old male student at the academy.

April 17 — Mira A.P. Codispot, 19, of East Brady, was charged with misdemeanor simple assault and summary harassment. Police said she pushed someone and grabbed their neck.

April 17 — Melvin J. Risinger, 71, of Emlenton, was charged with two counts of misdemeanor drug possession. Police said he was found with a small amount of marijuana.

April 14 — Keshawn Watkins-Wright, 26, of Johnstown, was charged with misdemeanors fleeing an officer, loitering, evading arrest and use and possession of drugs. Police said he did not yield to a traffic stop and fled them on foot. An ounce of suspected crack cocaine was found in his vehicle as well, police said.

April 14 — Mattison W. Reep, 23, of Chicora, was charged with misdemeanor DUI after police said she crashed her vehicle March 15 on Fairmont Road, Fairview Township. A later blood test showed Reep’s blood alcohol content at 0.084%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.

April 14 — Noah J. Carben, 21, of Butler, was charged with two misdemeanor counts of DUI after police said they stopped him April 8 on Route 8, Clay Township. Police said field sobriety tests showed he was impaired, and a later breath test showed Carben’s blood alcohol content at 0.115%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.

April 14 — Kara L. Shumaker, 42, of Chicora, was charged with misdemeanor DUI after police said they stopped her April 5 on Fairmont Road, Fairview Township. Police said field sobriety test showed she was impaired.

April 14 — Richard J. Ealy, 32, of Karns City, was charged with misdemeanor DUI and drug possession after police said they stopped him March 21 in Butler. Police said field sobriety tests showed he was impaired, and a later blood test showed traces of THC in his blood. A bag of suspected marijuana was found on his person.

April 13 — David M. Maleychik, 60, of Portersville, was charged with three counts of felony DUI after police said they stopped him March 5 on West Grandview Avenue, Zelienople. Police said field sobriety tests showed he was impaired, and a later blood test showed Maleychik’s blood alcohol content at 0.185% with traces of fentanyl and lorazepam. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.

April 13 — Saniya Niazi, 41, of Cranberry Township, was taken to Ohio Valley Hospital in Allegheny County after being struck from behind in a three-vehicle accident on Interstate 376 in Collier Township, Allegheny County. She stopped her car in the left eastbound lane due to a traffic accident when her vehicle was hit from behind by a sport utility vehicle and pushed forward about 40 feet. The SUV then was struck by another vehicle. The SUV driver also was injured.

April 10 — Kelly L. Wilson, 54, of Harrisville, was charged with felonies forgery and access device fraud and misdemeanors theft and cashing bad checks. Police said she gave a bad check totaling $465.

April 10 — Daniel N. Mukaabya, 35, of Karns City, was charged with felonies forgery, access device fraud and misdemeanors theft and bad checks. Police said he cashed multiple bad checks totaling $1,544.

April 28 — Diana Osterling, 70, of Butler and Chrystle Fox, 39, of New Castle were taken to Butler Memorial Hospital with minor injuries after they were involved in a two-vehicle crash on Bonniebrook Road at Pine Drive in Summit Township.
