Police Reports

The following items have been collected from various police departments and district courts:

Adams Twp

April 8 — Eli M. Zatezalo, 52, of Gibsonia, was charged with two counts of misdemeanor DUI after police said he crashed his vehicle on Warrendale Road. Police said field sobriety tests showed he was impaired, and a later breath test showed Zatezalo’s blood alcohol content at 0.244%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.

Butler City

April 8 — Donald J. Hutchinson, 31, of McKeesport, was charged with misdemeanors DUI and five counts of accidents involving injury or property damage after police said he crashed his vehicle at North Sixth and American avenues. Police said field sobriety tests showed he was impaired.

Butler County Detectives

April 5 — Derrick L. Hart, 54, of East Pittsburgh, was charged with felony escape. Police said he cut off his electronic monitoring bracelet when he was on house arrest.

Butler Twp

April 5 — A 15-year-old juvenile was charged with use and possession of marijuana after police said they had a THC vape pen and nicotine vape pen at Butler Area Senior High School.

April 10 — Laura A. Shanley, 51, of Saxonburg, was charged with misdemeanor drug possession. Police said she was found to be in possession of suspected methamphetamine.

April 6 — Jeffrey A. McPherson, 55, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor DUI after police said they stopped him on Whitestown Road, Connoquenessing Township. Police said field sobriety test showed he was impaired, and a later breath test showed McPherson’s blood alcohol content at 0.177%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.

April 5 — Andrew C. Fink III, 32, of Renfrew, was charged with misdemeanors theft and failure to display proper documents and several traffic citations after police said they stopped him April 8 on Bonniebrook Road, Summit Township. Police said he was operating a vehicle with a stolen license plate and fraudulent inspection sticker.

April 5 — Kara L. Shumaker, 42, of Petrolia, was charged with misdemeanors DUI and drug possession after police said she crashed her vehicle on North Main Street, Center Township. Police said she showed signs of impairment, and Gabapentin, cyclobenzaprine, doxepin, Alprazolam and Lorazepam were found in her purse.

April 5 — Paula J. Donaldson, 54, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor criminal mischief. Police said she threw a beer bottle at someone’s vehicle.

April 4 — Wayne L. Brink, 54, of Sarver, was charged with misdemeanor simple assault and summary harassment. Police said he grabbed a woman and kicked her in the leg.

April 3 — Bo B. Murray, 38, of Lower Burrell, was charged with misdemeanors DUI and use and possession of drug paraphernalia. Police said he crashed his vehicle into a building in Chicora, and a search of his vehicle produced 10 marijuana cigarettes, five empty stamp bags and 18 syringes. Police said he admitted to smoking marijuana before driving.

April 3 — Chevlan C. Lee, 41, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor simple assault and summary harassment. Police said he threw someone to the ground and against a refrigerator.

April 3 — David T. Digiacomo, 44, of Slippery Rock, was charged with two counts of misdemeanor theft. Police said he took a refrigerator from his landlord.

March 31 — Jodi L. Rupert, 52, of Zelienople, was charged with misdemeanor harassment and furnishing information without knowledge. Police said she called the barracks 26 times for non emergency purposes and gave false reports.
