Marra Patton and Kristen Woolstrum were the winning pitchers Friday as the Butler County Community College softball team swept a doubleheader at Westmoreland CC, 9-1 and 17-1.

Patton struck out six in three innings in the first game. Amanda Dailey and Taylor Schultz, both Moniteau graduates, had three singles and two RBI. Madison Hanan had a double, single and two RBI.

Woolstrum struck out five in three innings in the second game. Dailey doubled and singled for an RBI, Schultz had two singles and two RBI, Patton a double and three RBI.

The Pioneers (11-3) host Lorain CC on Thursday.
