A drug take-back is scheduled for later this month at the Walmart in Butler Township, according to township police.

The event is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 22.

People can dispose of medications in the original container or directly into the disposal box. Those disposing of medication in the original container are asked to remove identifying information.

Disposals of vape pens or other e-cigarette devices require batteries to be removed.

Liquid medical products should remain in the tightly-sealed original packaging.

IV solutions, injectables and syringes will not be accepted during the event.
