Police Reports

The following items have been collected from various police departments and district courts:

Butler City

March 10 — Stacy R. Byers, 33, Butler, was charged with felony robbery and misdemeanor theft. Police said she threatened to cut someone and took $30 from them.

March 10 — Michael R. Doumont, 53, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor theft. Police said he took someone’s bicycle.

March 9 — Donald W. Reese, 25, of Butler, was charged with two counts of felony aggravated assault and two counts of misdemeanor simple assault. Police said he punched and bit someone, then struck them with a long gun.

Butler Twp

March 9 — Richard M. Nolan, 32, of West Sunbury, was charged with misdemeanors reckless endangerment and disorderly conduct and was cited for reckless driving. Police said he drove at a high rate of speed through a parking lot and almost struck a person and an SUV.

Cranberry Twp

March 8 — Durron D. Carson, 41, of Cleveland, Ohio, was charged with felonies theft and conspiracy. Police said he left Best Buy with $2,595 worth of merchandise without paying for it.

Harrisville

March 10 — Robert M. Whitlatch, 27, of Marion Township, Venango County, was charged with misdemeanor simple assault and summary harassment. Police said he pushed someone to the ground during an argument.

State police, Butler

March 12 — Patrick L. Duncan, 42, of Butler, was charged with felony contraband and misdemeanor drug possession. Police said a small amount of crystal meth was found in his sock as he was being processed at Butler County Prison.

March 10 — Tara D. Rupert, 43, of Rimersburg, was charged with misdemeanor theft. Police said she took her coworker’s Air Pods.

March 10 — Paul A. Claypoole, 45, of Lyndora, was charged with two misdemeanor counts of drug possession. Police said a small amount of marijuana was found in his vehicle.
