Library book sale part of spring market
The patios of the South Butler Community Library and Saxonburg Coffee and Tea will host a spring market from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, March 25. Vendors will offer wood crafts, wreaths, fresh cut flowers, potted plants, sweet treats, stuffed pretzels, pierogies and haluski.
Children can visit the library to make a bunny bag so they can use it to gather a treat from some of the businesses in Saxonburg. Face-painting, selfies, and hair accessories will also be available.
The library’s semiannual clearance book sale will also be underway, where a grocery bag full of books, DVDs, CDs and puzzles can be purchased for $5. The book sale is a three-day event running from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, March 24, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, March 25 and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, March 26.
