The following items have been collected from various police departments and district courts:

March 8 — Jonathan R. Spuntak, 40, of Mars, was charged with three misdemeanor counts of simple assault, misdemeanor reckless endangerment and summary harassment. Police said he pushed and punched someone and got into a verbal altercation with minors.

March 5 — Adam J. Simmer, 47, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor resisting arrest. Police said he refused to be handcuffed when they responded to a domestic dispute.

March 7 — James L. Cunningham Jr., 41, of East Liverpool, Ohio, and Jena K. Whittington, 30, of Wellsville, Ohio, was charged with felonies conspiracy and theft. Police said they left Home Depot with $636 worth of merchandise without paying for it.

March 6 — Shane W. Young, 49, of Butler, was charged with two counts of felony drug sales. Police said he sold an unidentified amount of heroin and fentanyl to a confidential informant.

March 7 — Debra L. Young, 61, of Columbus, Ga., was charged with felony theft and conspiracy. Police said she left Walmart with $1,006 worth of merchandise without paying for it.

March 7 — Anthony J. Rotell, 72, of Stoneboro, was charged with misdemeanor theft. Police said he left Walmart with $198 worth of merchandise without paying for it.

March 7 — David W. Sherrill, 26, and Jazmine E. Overly, 26, both of Butler, were charged with misdemeanors theft and conspiracy. Police said they left Walmart with $210 worth of merchandise without paying for it.

March 7 — Shawnell C. Wade, 37, of McKees Rocks, was charged with felonies theft and conspiracy. Police said she left Michael's with $429 worth of merchandise without paying for it.

March 7 — Terry J. Wolf, 43, of Beaver Falls, was charged with misdemeanor use and possession of drug paraphernalia and summary public drunkenness. Police said he was found in possession of 20 empty stamp bags and two hypodermic syringes.

March 6 — Richard Montgomery, 66, of Prospect, was charged with two misdemeanors of driving under the influence after police said they stopped him Feb. 26 on Perry Highway. Police said field sobriety tests showed he was impaired, and a later blood test showed Montgomery’s blood alcohol content at 0.118%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.

Feb. 28 — Lisa M. Kendrick, 45, of Butler, was charged with felony food stamp fraud. Police said she failed to report income for SNAP benefits.

March 8 — Kayla L. Linhart, 34, of Butler, was charged with two misdemeanor DUIs and Madison B. Kief, 24, of Butler, was charged with two misdemeanors of use and possession of drug paraphernalia. Police said they stopped them Jan. 20 on North Chestnut Street, and Linhart showed signs of impairment. Kief was found with two THC vape pens.

March 8 — Matthew D. Owens, 35, of Coraopolis, was charged with three misdemeanor DUIs after police said they stopped him Dec. 25, 2022, on Interstate 79, Cranberry Township. Police said field sobriety tests showed he was impaired.

March 6 — Joshua L. Pengryn, 25, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor criminal mischief and disorderly conduct. Police said he punched a vehicle’s side mirror.

March 15 — A catalytic converter was cut and removed from a 2017 Ford F-350 work truck owned by Folino Construction of Oakmont sometime after Nov. 30 at 1169 W. Portersville Road.

March 6 — Kimberly Martin, 35, of Zelienople, was charged with misdemeanor simple assault and summary harassment. Police said she punched someone and grabbed them by the shirt until it ripped.
