North Catholic game postponed
North Catholic’s quest for advancement in the PIAA Class 4A boys basketball tournament will have to wait a day.
The Trojans (20-7) were scheduled to face Valley View (22-4), the runner-up team out of District 2, in the tourney’s second round Tuesday night at Central Mountain High School. Inclement weather in that area forced postponement of that game.
The teams are now scheduled to play at 6 p.m. Wednesday at the same site. North Catholic, WPIAL runner-up, has won 10 of its last 11 games.
