Library hosts retirement tax workshop
The South Butler Community Library, 240 W. Main St., Saxonburg, will offer a “Taxes and Retirement” educational workshop at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 14.
Learn how tax planning changes through the four stages of retirement beginning at age 50. People often pay more in taxes than expected because a confusing system treats income types differently and contains hidden taxes and penalties. Topics include retirement surprises, four keys to successful tax planning and developing a tax strategy.
All community members are invited to this free program by a local financial professional. This is not a sales presentation. Refreshments will be provided.
Contact the library at 724-352-4810 to register. Walk-ins are welcome.
