In loving memory of my beloved wife, Carol Ann Landis, who passed away March 14, 2019.

God saw you were getting tired

A cure was not to be.

So He put His arms around you and whispered, “Come with me.”

With tearful eyes we watched you and saw you fade away.

Although we loved you dearly,

We could not make you stay.

Many times we think of you

Many times we cry,

If love could have saved you,

You never would have died.

A golden heart stopped beating

Your tended hands at rest

God took you home to prove to us,

He only takes the best.
