Police Reports

The following items have been collected from various police departments and district courts:

Adams Township

Feb. 23 — Shannon M. Cleary, 51, of Valencia, was charged with three misdemeanors including use and possession of drug paraphernalia. Police said she was in possession of buprenorphine and naloxone films.

Feb. 23 — Mark G. Lacava II, 37, of Mars, was charged with two misdemeanors driving under the influence after police said he crashed his vehicle Jan. 16 on Union Church Road. Police said he showed signs of impairment and that a later blood test showed Lacava’s blood alcohol content at 0.110%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.

Feb. 22 — Tiffany L. Short, 53, of Evans City, was charged with three misdemeanors including diversion of medical marijuana. Police said she sold her medical marijuana to someone who did not have a medical marijuana card.

Feb. 22 — Amber D. Baldrick, 40, of Mars, was charged with misdemeanors DUIs, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct after police said they stopped her Feb. 12 on Warrendale Road. Police said she caused a disturbance in GetGo and showed signs of impairment. Baldrick refused to comply with officer’s orders during the incident.

Butler Township

Feb. 24 — Jeffrey S. Tonini, 53, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor theft. Police said he left Walmart with $289 worth of merchandise without paying for it. Charges were expunged June 21, 2023.

Cranberry Township

Feb. 23 — Bobby J. Mock, 54, of Youngstown, Ohio, was charged with felonies theft and conspiracy. Police said he removed a personal trailer from a truck without permission.

Jackson Township

Feb. 22 — David W. Eberhardt, 32, of Evans City, was charged with misdemeanors fleeing arrest and evading officers. Police said he failed to obey a traffic stop and fled officers on foot.

State police, Butler

Feb. 23 — Sylvia M. Confer, 34, of Chicora, was charged with two misdemeanor DUIs after police said she crashed her vehicle on Main Street, Chicora. Police said that she showed signs of impairment and a later blood test showed Confer’s blood alcohol content at 0.209%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.

Feb. 23 — Lori S. Liebler, 53, of Butler, was charged with two misdemeanor DUIs after police said she crashed her vehicle Feb. 5 on Chicora Road, Donegal Township. Police said she showed signs of impairment, and that a later breath test showed Liebler’s blood alcohol content at 0.098%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.

Feb. 23 — Raymond K. Ruth, 58, of Butler, was charged with three misdemeanor DUIs after police said he crashed his vehicle Jan. 24 on Oneida Valley Road, Oakland Township. Police said field sobriety tests showed he was impaired, and that a later blood test showed traces of benzoylecgonine and fentanyl in his system.

Feb. 23 — Brandon J. Sobah, 33, of Slippery Rock, was charged with two misdemeanor DUIs after police said they stopped him Jan. 29 on Route 8 in Clay Township. Police said field sobriety tests showed he was impaired, and that a later blood test showed Sobah’s blood alcohol content at 0.2%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.

Feb. 22 — Richard A. Facemire, 43, of Karns City, was charged with two misdemeanor DUIs after police said he crashed his vehicle Jan. 21 on Merchant Lane in Fairview Township. Police said he showed signs of impairment, and that a later blood test showed Facemire’s blood alcohol content at 0.178%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.

This story was updated July 5, 2023 to reflect that the above charges against Jeffrey S. Tonini were expunged.
