Police Reports

The following items have been collected from various police departments and district courts:

Butler Township

Feb. 22 — Ralph E. Engel, 53, of Prospect, was charged with misdemeanor theft and summary criminal mischief. Police said he left Walmart with $179 worth of merchandise without paying for it.

Feb. 18 — Alexander Smith, 23, of Chicora, was cited for disorderly conduct. Police said he threw ice cream at a vehicle.

Cranberry Township

Feb. 21 — Robert Salmon, 52, of Duquesne, was charged with misdemeanors theft and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. Police said he rented a box truck and did not return it.

Slippery Rock borough

Feb. 21 — Theodor A. Newhouse-Godine, 21, of Pittsburgh, was charged with misdemeanor harassment. Police said he sent threatening messages to someone.

Slippery Rock University

Feb. 21 — Camerin K. Lindsey, 20, of York, was charged with misdemeanor false identification to an officer and summary disorderly conduct. Police said he was involved in a fight and gave a false name to officers.

State police, Butler

Feb. 21 — Isiah D. Bauman, 21, of Saxonburg, was charged with misdemeanor driving under the influence after police said they stopped him Jan. 10 on Route 8, Center Township. Police said field sobriety test showed he was impaired, and Bauman admitted to smoking marijuana.

Feb. 21 — Michael D. Capalongo, 50, of Pittsburgh, was charged with misdemeanor theft. Police said he took $177 worth of jewelry from someone and sold it to a pawnshop.

Feb. 21 — Caleb L. Bullers, 32, of Brookville, was charged with misdemeanors DUI and use and possession of drug paraphernalia after police said they stopped him Jan. 18 on Parker Pike, Parker Township. Police said field sobriety tests showed he was impaired, and a later blood test showed traces of methamphetamine and fentanyl in Bullers’ blood.
