Moniteau high waves ‘Bye Bye Birdie’
Moniteau Jr./Sr. High School will present the musical “ByeBye Birdie” at 7 p.m. March 17 and 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. March 18 at the high school.

Darcie Bishop is the director. Kathy Sutton is producer. William Weltman is pit band director, while Jackie Thiry is choreographer and Kierra Thiry is assistant choreographer.
Bryan Dean is set designer, Kimberly Stoughton, props manager and Dorinda Aigner, stage manager.
Naomi Wagner is costume designer, and Dawn Williams is assistant costume designer. Michele Campbell is elementary assistant, and Larry Baptiste is sound/lighting manager.
When the draft selects rock star Conrad Birdie, his fans are devastated, but none more than struggling songwriter Albert Petersen. Birdie was about to record one of Albert’s songs.
At the urging of longtime girlfriend Rosie, Albert is tasked with writing a song that Birdie will sing live on television to a fan selected in a contest. The plan works, and Ohio teen Kim MacAfee is the winner, but no one has counted on the jealousy and wrath of her boyfriend.
