Not a day passes by, Dad

That you don't cross our minds.

Not all of you departed

When you left our earth behind.

What we would give to clasp your hand,

Your happy face to see,

To hear your voice and see your smile,

That meant so much to us.

The rolling stream of life rolls on.

But still the vacant chair recalls the love,

The voice, the smile of the one who once sat there.

In our hearts there is a place

That only you can hold.

Filled with loving memories

More priceless than gold.
