Sentence court

The following defendants were sentenced Feb. 16 before Common Pleas Court Judge Kelley Streib.

Avery Harshbarger, 22, of Butler, was sentenced to concurrently serve two terms of three months to 23 months and 15 days in prison, but was immediately paroled to serve 90 days of house arrest and to pay $2,018 in restitution to Cammisa’s Autobody after pleading guilty to a felony charge of theft filed by Butler City police following a Feb. 24, 2022, incident, and pleading guilty to a felony charge of conspiracy to commit theft filed by Butler Township police following a Dec. 14, 2021, incident.

Tiffany Marie Davis, 36, of Cannonsburg, Washington County, was sentenced to serve 36 months of probation, pay a $200 fine and pay $500 in restitution after pleading guilty to a charge of access device fraud filed by Slippery Rock police following a May 9, 2021, incident.

Katie Marie Defonde, 36, of New Castle, Lawrence County, was sentenced to serve 12 months of probation after pleading guilty to a charge of conspiracy to possess drug paraphernalia filed by state police following a July 26, 2019, incident.

Tyler Joseph Zabicki, 30, of Renfrew, was sentenced to serve 12 months of probation after pleading guilty to a charge of theft filed by Jackson Township police following a Jan. 28, 2022, incident.

Cory John Malis, 73, of Butler, was sentenced to serve six months of probation and pay a $50 fine after pleading guilty to a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia filed by Penn Township police following an Aug. 8, 2022, incident.

Jay E. Vinroe, 34, of Butler, was sentenced to serve 60 months of probation including 105 days of house arrest, pay a $1,500 fine and complete 40 hours of community service and attend a victim-impact panel after pleading guilty to his third driving under the influence offense filed by state police following a July 28, 2022, incident.

William Rudolph Porter IV, 41, of Erie, Erie County, was sentenced to serve two concurrent terms of 11 months and 29 days to 23 months and 28 days in prison, but was immediately paroled and fined $200 after pleading guilty to felony charges of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver and conspiracy filed by Butler City police following a Feb. 14, 2021, incident.

Damire Montae McClain, 20, of Pittsburgh, was sentenced to serve 12 months of probation and pay a $300 fine after pleading guilty to a charge of escape filed by state police following a May 16, 2020, incident.

David Joseph Terrazas, 68, of Whiting, Ind., was sentenced to serve three to 15 months in prison, but was immediately paroled to remain in VA housing and fined $100 after pleading guilty to a charge of forgery filed by Cranberry Township police following a Sept. 16, 2022, incident.

Jacob Richard Henry, 29, of Butler, was sentenced to serve six months of probation including 14 days of house arrest, pay a $1,000 fine and complete 40 hours of community service and a victim impact panel after pleading guilty to a charge of DUI filed by state police following a Sept. 19, 2021, incident.

Steven M. Tedrow, 33, of Ellwood City, Lawrence County, was sentenced to serve three to 12 months in prison, but was immediately paroled to serve 12 months of probation after pleading guilty to a charge of terroristic threats filed by state police following an April 22, 2021, incident, and to serve 12 months of probation and pay a $100 fine after pleading guilty to criminal mischief filed by state police following an April 1, 2021, incident.

James Miller, 47, of New Castle, Lawrence County, was sentenced to concurrently serve 18 months of probation including 30 days of house arrest and pay $25 in restitution to Walmart after pleading guilty to charges of retail theft and conspiracy to commit retail theft filed by Cranberry Township police following a Dec. 15, 2019, incident.

Michelle Lynn Johnston, 38, of Uniontown, Fayette County, was sentenced to serve six months of probation after pleading guilty to a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia filed by Butler City police following a Sept. 8, 2021, incident.

Erin Lynn Maples, 32, of Karns City, was sentenced to serve 60 months of probation including 105 days of house arrest, pay fines totaling $1,700 and complete litter pickup, 40 hours of community service and a victim impact panel after pleading guilty to her second DUI offense and careless driving filed by state police following a Jan. 12, 2019, incident.

Steven W. Knebel, 54, of Cranberry Township, was sentenced to serve 24 months of probation that can be terminated after 12 months if he commits no other violations and pays $10,833 in restitution to the victim after pleading no contest to a charge of simple assault filed by Cranberry Township police following a May 2, 2020, incident.
