Mars cheerleaders 8th at UCA Nationals

ORLANDO, Fla. — The Mars Area High School competitive cheer team placed eighth in the finals of the Small Varsity Division II Game Day portion of the UCA National High School Cheerleading Championship held last weekend at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando, Fla.

Team members include seniors Alina Glentzer, Sydney Heim, Lucy Huggins, Elsa Scheide and Madalynn Schwatrtzbauer; junior Kelly Kozesky; sophomores Mackenzie Aufderheide, Ellie Koma, Gabriella Lapina, Brooke Southwell, Addisyn Vavala and Isabella Yoshioka; freshen Riley Carrel, Josie Dressen, Alexandria Lefcakis, Paige Nicholson, Bella Staines, Avery Symchak, Teagan Tumulty and Addison Vargo.
