ISAAC BUSLER (Butler) ran a leg of Grove City’s distance medley relay that placed fourth at the SPIRE Indoor Games. Their time was 11 minutes, 04.05 seconds.
JAMES PARENTI (Moniteau) placed ninth overall, in the weight throws at the SPIRE Indoor Games for Grove City. His top effort was 49 feet, 5 inches, which led all Division III throwers at the event.
JACOB PATTON (Moniteau) posted an 11th-place finish for Westminster in the 400 meters with a time of 50.34 seconds at the SPIRE Indoor Games.
GABBY KUTCHMA (Seneca Valley) notched a PSAC qualifying time in the 3,000 meters for Clarion at the SPIRE indoor Games. Her time was a personal-record 10 minutes, 33.58 seconds.
MADILYN BOYER (Knoch) scored 13 points for Penn State Behrend in an 88-56 women’s basketball win over Penn State Altoona. Behrend improved to 18-5 overall, 10-2 in AMCC play.
BROOKE GRIFFITH (Karns City) placed eighth in the 1,000 meters for Thiel at the Mid-February Meet held at Baldwin Wallace. Her time was 3:54.30.
LUKE VITTONE (Eden Christian, Seven Fields) tripled and singled for Grove City’s baseball team in a season-opening 10-2 win over Penn State Greater Allegheny at Michelle Krill Memorial Field at Pullman Park.
LIZ SIMMS (Butler) ran a season personal-record 2 minutes, 17.94 seconds for Davidson in the 800 meters at Liberty University’s indoor meet. She finished 28th out of 68 runners.
