Rockets pick up pair of victories
Josh Book scored 20 points Tuesday night as Slippery Rock’s boys basketball team defeated Perry Traditional Academy, 67-40.
The Rockets jumped out to a 13-point lead in the first quarter and led by 19 at the half. John Sabo scored 11 points.
Quinsaun Reese led Perry with 15 points.
The Rockets also defeated Wilmington, 50-21, on Wednesday night as Dylan Gordon scored 13 points and Sabo 11. Slippery Rock had a 32-8 lead by halftime.

Alex Preston paced A-C Valley with 16 points while Jay Clover netted 13. Union led by only two points at halftime before outscoring the Falcons 37-17 over the final two quarters.

Max Rottmann added 20 points and Andrew Maddalon 14 for the Trojans,.who have also won 10 of their past 11 games. North Catholic travels to Beaver on Friday night.
Jacob Patton scored 20 points for Blackhawk (11-10, 5-6).
