Wolfe

George Edward Wolfe of Punta Gorda, Fla., passed away peacefully on Jan. 28, 2023, at the of 85.

He was born Jan. 10, 1938, in Butler.

He retired from Armco Steel.

He was known for his great sense of humor, winning smile and sparkly blue eyes.

He loved sports and was especially proud of his hole-in-one, which he achieved while golfing in his later years.

He leaves behind his wife, Diane; three sons, Georg Wolfe (Michelle), Dean Wolfe (Diane) and Dan Wolfe (Shelley); one daughter, Julie Wolfe Crawford; his two stepchildren, Jodi Cantler and Jeff King; seven grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his son-in-law, Thomas Crawford; his parents, Grace and Frank Wolfe; and his brothers, Don and Jack Wolfe.

WOLFE — A celebration of life will be held at a later date for George Edward Wolfe, who died Saturday, Jan. 28, 2023.
