Thank you to all
As the smoldering finally quit and the confusion slows down a bit, it is with a very sincere “THANK YOU” to ALL who gave of their time, especially on the birthday of Christ, to help in the fighting of the fire at Thompson’s Market in West Sunbury. THANK YOU seems very small for everything that so many have done.
As members of the Thompson Family, we are so very grateful to each of you — and especially God — who watched over the tenants of the building and all involved at the scene. We cannot begin to list the selfless first responders locally, and from surrounding counties who gave of their time away from their homes and families on that day.
As a family with deep roots in this small community, it is breathtaking and heartwarming to see the collaboration and unity that occurred with such a tragic incident. The thought that we continually have when we discuss what we witnessed that day is that we could not be more proud to call this town “home.”
While we reflect on so many years of business that occurred within the four walls of the structure, we are reminded of the finer things that really matter. We are left with family, friends, love, laughter, and so many amazing memories — which include so many of you.
Again – thank you to everyone for your actions, thoughts, prayers, and all support during this difficult time.
Blessings to all,
The Thompson Family
