Opening the 1970 season: ‘The Apple Tree’

The Butler Little Theatre has been staging plays and musicals for decades. It kicked off the 1970 season with a production of “The Apple Tree.”
The production included three short musicals combined into one show, each connected by a common theme. Part one of the musical was a story about Adam and Eve.
The show was directed by William Lehnerd, who was assisted by Margo Pitts and Paula Rudy, whom also produced the show.
The musical ran daily, except for Sundays and Mondays, from the end of January until Feb. 14.
