Keystone Vacuum takes over Sweeper City location
With the same business model as its previous tenant, Keystone Vacuum, which took over the Sweeper City location at 156 Point Plaza in Butler, has been open for almost two weeks.
The business will offer the same brands and services Butler residents have been used to, according to company president Evan Strittmatter.
“We basically are a home cleaning store that is centered on selling quality products that are designed to last,” Strittmatter said. “In addition to being a full-service center for basically any brand of vacuum or carpet cleaner that might be on the market.”
Strittmatter received the keys to the Butler location Jan. 11 and has been working long hours to get the place up and running.
Keystone Vacuum is open for business, but products are on order, Strittmatter said, to help stock the store even more.
“The vibe in the last three weeks has been that the community is very much about supporting and buying local,” Strittmatter said. “That made opening a new store in that space an easy decision because I knew the people would be there to support it.”
Strittmatter, an Indiana, Pa., native, is the president of three businesses, Indiana Vac, Pittsburgh Central Vacuum and now Keystone Vacuum.
All the businesses fall under Indiana Vac LLC.
