‘The Princess Bride’ star to perform in Zelie

The Strand Theater in Zelienople will host actor and singer Mandy Patinkin at 7:30 p.m. on Feb. 7.
Patinkin, known for playing Inigo Montoya in the 1987 film “The Princess Bride,” also is a Tony Award-winning Broadway star.
The event is part of “Mandy Patinkin in Concert: Being Alive,” a touring performance of his favorite Broadway hits and classic American music. The concert will include pieces by Stephen Sondheim, Irving Berlin, Cole Porter and Harry Chapin.
Being Alive began its national tour this month and will conclude Feb. 18 in New Jersey. Patinkin is accompanied by pianist Adam Ben-David.
According to the Strand Theater’s website, tickets for the event have sold out.
