Police Reports

The following items have been collected from various police departments and district courts:

Cranberry Twp

Jan. 18 — Kelly E. O’Connor, of 57, of Wexford, was charged with two misdemeanors of driving under the influence. Police said they stopped her on Route 19, and that field sobriety tests showed she was impaired. A later blood test showed traces of THC and Ambien in her system, according to police.

Jan. 10 — Jennifer L. Thumm, 45, of New Wilmington, was charged with misdemeanor bad checks. Police said she gave a bad check totaling $1,705 to a business.

Jan. 10 — Delshawn L. Torres, 33, of Farrell, was charged with misdemeanors conspiracy and theft. Police said he left Walmart with $588 worth of merchandise without paying for it.

Jan. 6 — James A. Carroll III, 23, of West Sunbury, was charged with misdemeanor property damage and several traffic citations. Police said he was involved in a vehicle crash Dec. 15 on Route 228, and that he fled the scene without exchanging information. He also is a DUI suspended driver, according to police.

Jan. 5 — James A. Carroll III, 23, of West Sunbury, was charged with two counts of misdemeanor theft. Police said he left Walmart with $290 worth of merchandise without paying for it.

Butler City

Jan. 6 — Joshua A. Rivera, 37, of Butler, was charged with two misdemeanors of driving under the influence. Police said they stopped him Dec. 25 on South Chestnut Street. Police said he admitted to snorting a half-bag of heroin and smoking crack before driving.

Butler Twp

Jan. 9 — Paul W. Roth, 61, of New Castle, was charged with misdemeanor theft. Police said he left Walmart with $499 worth of merchandise without paying for it.

Jan. 9 — Rebecca L. Mangini, 24, of Butler, was charged with four misdemeanor counts of theft. Police said she left Walmart with $426 worth of merchandise without paying for it.

Jan. 7 — Robert C. Lary, 52, and Ashley M. McCune, 32, both of Butler, were charged with two misdemeanor counts of false report. Police said they admitted to lying about a harassment that took place.

Jan. 6 — Whitney A. Tucker, 28, of Butler, was charged with felony theft. Police said she left Walmart with multiple items without paying for them.

Jan. 6 — Michael W. Collins, 29, of Bellefonte, was charged with a felony and misdemeanor of a false written statement. Police said he answered a question inaccurately when applying to purchase a firearm at Down Range Supply in Butler Township.

Jan. 5 — Riley P. Hunt, 24, of New Castle, was charged with misdemeanor theft. Police said he left Lowe’s with $439 worth of merchandise without paying for it.

Mars

Jan. 8 — Christine Taggart, 52, of Mars, was charged with misdemeanor simple assault and summaries harassment and disorderly conduct. Police said she struck and scratched someone.

State police, Butler

Jan. 9 — Ronald J. Germani, 62, of New Castle, was charged with misdemeanor DUI after police said they stopped him Dec. 3 on Route 422, Muddy Creek Township. Police said field sobriety tests showed he was impaired, and a later blood test showed traces of bupropion in his system.

Jan. 9 — Tyler Richardson, 18, of Wilkinsburg, was charged with felony escape after police said he left Summit Academy.

Jan. 5 — John D. Gibson III, 43, of Connoquenessing, was charged with misdemeanors DUI and drug possession. Police said he crashed his vehicle on Eagle Mill Road, Connoquenessing Township. Police said he showed signs of impairment, and a later blood test showed traces of fentanyl and THC in his system.
