Scott A. Grosick

Scott A. Grosick, 60, of Evans City, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2023, at his home.

Born June 14, 1962, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Andrew Grosick and Lois Kirschler Grosick.

Scott was a 1981 Seneca Valley High School graduate. While in high school, he excelled at track and field.

He worked for the IBEW Local 5 for more than 25 years, and had recently retired.

He loved coaching his kids in youth sports, including basketball, baseball and softball. He was an avid sportsman, who loved to hunt outdoors. He also enjoyed woodworking within his garage. Above all, he was a loving husband, proud grandfather and wonderful father to his children. He will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered.

Scott leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife of 33 years, Sheli Capella Grosick; his children, Shayla (Ian) English, Shaunna Grosick and Shayne Grosick; his siblings, Andy (Debbie) Grosick, Ginger (Jim) Fornauf and Lisa Williamson; his grandson, Cash; his mother-in-law, Patricia Capella; and lots of loving nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Scott was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Gary Capella; and his niece, Jennifer Fornauf.

GROSICK — Private funeral arrangements for Scott A. Grosick, who died Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2023, have been entrusted to BOYLAN FUNERAL HOME, 116 E. Main St., Evans City.
