The North Country Trail Association will hold a virtual “trail adopter” workshop from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, June 28.

Hosted by the NCTA Regional Trail Coordinators, the workshop will discuss the roles and responsibilities of becoming a “trail adopter.” The presentation will focus on the skills and knowledge — such as safety, maintenance, environmental concerns and ‘blazing’ — required to adopt a trail.

This free workshop will also provide adopters with additional resources and allow time for group discussion and questions.
