Ostrowski

Gary L. Ostrowski, 66, of Jackson Township, passed away on Friday, Dec. 16, 2022, while under the care of UPMC Passavant Hospital in Cranberry Township.

Born July 8, 1956, in Butler, he was the son of the late Virginia Hall.

Gary was a member of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church in Butler.

He was a member of Moose Lodge 64, and the Sons of Italy, where he volunteered to assist with Bingo for many years. He was also a volunteer at the United Way.

Gary leaves behind to cherish his memory his children, Gary J. (Mary) Ostrowski of Virginia and Tammy A. (Steve) Kozar of Prospect; and his grandchildren, Bradyn, Ashley, Samantha, Joseph and Emily.

In addition to his parents, Gary was preceded in death by his wife, Katherine J. “Katie” Ostrowski, who passed away on July 22, 2018; and his brother, Joe Smith Sr.

OSTROWSKI — Friends of Gary L. Ostrowski, who died Friday, Dec. 16, 2022, will be received from 4 p.m. until the time of the blessing service at 7 p.m. Monday, Dec. 26, 2022, at BOYLAN FUNERAL HOME, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople.

A private graveside service will be held Wednesday, Dec. 28, 2022, at the Grace Church Cemetery for immediate family only.
