State Rep. Tim Bonner, R-8th, was chosen to be manager of the upcoming impeachment trial of Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner.

On Nov. 16, the seven articles of impeachment against Krasner were adopted by the state House. Krasner was cited for allegedly refusing to enforce criminal laws of the commonwealth, eliminating bail requirements for dangerous offenders, failing to notify and protect victims and their rights, and other alleged misconduct.

The process advances to the state Senate for impeachment trial proceedings which could result in Krasner’s removal from office. The articles of impeachment will be presented to the Senate on Wednesday, Nov. 30.
