Carolina Beach, Brown win on racetrack

WASHINGTON, Pa. — Carolina Beach, trained by Bill Bercury and owned by Renee Bercury of Slippery Rock, won a $15,400 Conditioned Pace during harness racing action Friday at Hollywood Casino at The Meadows.

The 8-year-old gelding extended his lifetime bankroll to $639,137.

Elsewhere on Friday’s card, Slippery Rock resident Brady Brown drove horses to two more victories. He brought home 30-1 long shot Macadoodledoo in an $8,500 Conditioned Pace and Black Hawk Down at 9-1 odds in an $8,500 Conditioned Trot.
