Roberta K. “Bertie” Flynn, 76, of Grove City, formerly of Brent, Pa., passed away unexpectedly at her home on Nov. 15, 2022.

Born June 29, 1946, in Grove City, she was a daughter of Robert E. Flynn Sr. and Kathryn Hedglin Flynn.

She recently retired from Sodexo, and had worked for many years at the “Tub” at Westminster College.

She enjoyed reading, word finds and playing bingo, as well as going out to dinner and shopping with her friends.

She is survived by her son, Michael E. (Michelle) Flynn of Boyers; two granddaughters, Lindsey and Amber Flynn; one great-granddaughter, Paisley Grace Flynn; one brother, Robert E. (Linda) Flynn Jr. of Grove City; a sister, Ruby A. Flynn Blattstein of Florida; and a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Joseph G. Flynn; and a sister, Patricia Flynn Barker.

FLYNN — Visitation for Roberta K. “Bertie” Flynn, who died Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2022, will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 17, 2022, at SMITH FUNERAL HOME OF LEESBURG, 1778 Perry Hwy., Volant.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. Barry Markel of Lakeview Church of God officiating.

Interment will follow at Crestview Memorial Park in Grove City.
