Police reports
The following items were collected from various police departments and district courts:
Oct. 12 — James A. Ganoe III, 31, of Rimersburg, was charged with misdemeanor theft. Police said he stole a cellphone from a restaurant.
Nov. 9 — Grant W. Ferrari, 27, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor DUI after police said he crashed his motorcycle on Brant Drive. A later blood test showed Ferrari’s blood-alcohol content at 0.226%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.
Oct. 27 — Robert E. Sheets IV, 22, of Evans City, was charged with misdemeanor criminal mischief after police said he broke a window in Giant Eagle using a shopping cart.
Nov. 4 — Tamili M. Smith, 55, of Butler, was charged with two misdemeanor DUIs after police said they stopped her Nov. 3 on East Main Street. Police said she showed signs of impairment.
Nov. 5 — Maxx J. Frazier, 18, Cranberry Township, was charged with misdemeanors disorderly conduct and resisting arrest after police said he was found with alcohol in his room and causing a disturbance.
Nov. 14 — Cody C. Hodak, 30, of North Washington, was charged with two counts of strangulation, one count of terroristic threats and two counts of harassment. Police said he impeded a woman’s ability to breathe by placing his hands on her neck and over her nose and mouth, and shoved her into a wall. A witness, who the woman was holding in her arms, suffered an abrasion on his back when Hodak shoved her into the wall, police said.
Nov. 14 — Kimberly A. Doran, 60, of Saxonburg, and Lori Ann Lavette, 58, of Ford City, Armstrong County, each were charged with two felony counts of theft stemming from an incident at Boscov’s at Clearview Mall. Police said an employee saw the pair gather $2,900 in clothes, perfume and other merchandise before Doran gave the items to Lavette, who concealed the items in a Boscov’s bag in an elevator and left without paying.
Nov. 6 — Christopher Hartmann, 46, of Evans City, was charged with misdemeanor simple assault and summary harassment after police said he kicked and punched someone in the mouth, then struck their head on a bookshelf.
Nov. 4 — Tracy L. Golden, 52, of Kittanning, was charged with felonies theft and financial exploitation after police said she stole $4,650 from a patient she was caring for.
Oct. 22 — Alexander S. Sahli, 31, of Cranberry Township, was charged with misdemeanor DUI and possession of drug paraphernalia after police said they stopped him Sept. 9 on Interstate 79, Jackson Township. Police said a field sobriety test showed he was impaired, and a later blood test showed traces of marijuana, fentanyl and xylazine in his system. Police said two empty stamp bags of suspected cocaine were found in Sahli’s possession.
