Pitt basketball wins opener
PITTSBURGH — Blake Hinson led four players in double figures with 27 points Monday night as the University of Pittsburgh men’s basketball team opened its season with an 80-58 win over Tennessee-Martin at the Petersen Events Center.
Fede Federiko scored 13 points for the Panthers while Greg Elliott netted 11 points and Jamarius Burton 10.
KJ Simon paced UT-Martin with 11 points.
