Charles Morris
Charles Morris of Clay, W.Va., passed away peacefully in his home on Monday, Oct. 24, 2022.
He was born Oct. 12, 1956, and was the son of the late Charles Lindburg Morris and Janice Metz Morris.
Better known as Bub or Chuck, he worked for many years as a truck driver. He later became a mechanic, working for Butler County Ford and Bluebird Bus in Pennsylvania.
He will be remembered for his goofy sense of humor, his imaginary pet chickens and his ability to make a friend everywhere he went.
To sum up his sense of humor, he always told everyone that his final request was to be buried upside down so the whole world could kiss his backside.
He is survived by his daughter, Chelsey (Jacob) Barto; three grandchildren, Drake, Blake and Chase of Butler; two sons, Chad Morris of Atlanta, Ga., and Charlie Morris; two brothers, Roger (Brenda) Morris of Clay, W.Va., and Ronnie (Mary) Morris of Duck, W.Va.; and two sisters, Brenda (Tony) Duncan of Bartlett, Ohio, and Susan Fields of Ivydale, W.Va.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his infant twin sister, Shirl Lynn Morris, as well as one other infant sibling; and his furry best friend, Buddy.
MORRIS — There will be a private graveside service at the McGlothlin Cemetery Rush Fork Road, Ivydale, W.Va., at a later date for Charles Morris who died Monday, Oct. 24, 2022.
