Allison Grace Runser, 56, of Butler, passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2022, at Allegheny General Hospital.

Born June 19, 1966, in France, she was the daughter of the late Albert William and JoAnn Reiber Runser.

Allison was a member of the First United Church of Christ in Millvale.

She resided with Community Care Connections for many years, and cherished her time and the staff there. She also attended the Golden Opportunities Day Program in Butler, and was a part of the Special Olympics Bowling.

Allison had a wonderful sense of humor. She was a very independent person and was proud of her accomplishments. She loved cooking with her father and going out to eat with her parents. In her free time, she enjoyed swimming and attending various camps. Some of her favorite activities included going to the casino, crafting, coloring, painting, gardening, helping to prepare her meals, and tending to her flowers and vegetables. She loved all animals, especially butterflies. She will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered.

Allison leaves behind to cherish her memory her brother, Aaron Runser; her nephews, Bradley Runser and Rowan Erickson; and many loving cousins, staff and her friends that became family at Community Care Connections.

In addition to her parents, Allison was preceded in death by her uncle, Theodore Reiber; and her grandparents, Margaret Reiber and Ted Reiber.

RUNSER — Friends of Allison Grace Runser, who died Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2022, will be received from 4 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 6 p.m. Friday at BOYLAN FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION CENTER, 856 Evans City Road, Renfrew.

Allison will be laid to rest with her parents at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
