Police Reports
The following items were collected from various police departments and district courts:
Oct. 12 — Vernon B. Hines, 59, of Cranberry, was charged with two misdemeanors of driving under the influence. Police said they stopped him Oct. 3 on Callery Road. Police said field sobriety tests showed he was impaired, and a later blood test showed Hines’ blood-alcohol content at 0.188%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.
Oct. 14 — Most A. Lane, 61, of Butler, was charged with three felony counts of failure to register after police said he failed to register as a Megan’s Law offender.
Oct. 14 — Robert J. Sutton, 58, of Hubbard, Ohio, was charged with a misdemeanor. Police said he failed to stop and exchange insurance information following a vehicle crash at Evans City and South Benbrook roads.
Oct. 14 — Alyssa Dreucci, 19, of Connoquenessing, received a traffic citation. Police said she rear-ended a vehicle at New Castle Road near Alameda Plaza, causing a five-vehicle crash.
Oct. 13 — Tressa Gilley, 35, of Butler, was involved in a crash on South Duffy Road at Evans City Road after she fell into the vehicle of Robert Hurd, 58, of Butler, from a curb. She was transported for injuries.
Oct. 13 — Seph Schlobohm, 36, of Butler, was cited for leaving the scene of an accident. Police said he lost control of his vehicle, struck a hillside and overturned on Route 422.
Oct. 13 — Brian K. Dourlain, 42, of Pittsburgh, was charged with a misdemeanor. Police said he failed to stop and exchange insurance information following a vehicle crash at Route 19 and Saint Francis Way.
Oct. 12 — Jeremy P. Merriman, 43, of Mars, was charged with misdemeanors simple assault, two counts of reckless endangerment and several traffic citations. Police said he hit an officer with his vehicle and drove down a closed roadway during an event Oct. 1 on Grand Avenue.
Oct. 15 — Ralph W. Manza, 52, of Plymouth, Maine, was involved in a vehicle crash. Police said he lost control on Interstate 79, Muddy Creek Township. He was transported for possible injury.
Oct. 14 — Shannon L. Winters, 40, of Clintonville, was charged with misdemeanor false identification to an officer and several traffic citations. Police said they stopped her Sept. 29 on Mercer Road, Butler Township.
Oct. 13 — Brian R. Young, 49, of New Castle and Erich T. Campbell, 51, of Pittsburgh, were involved in a vehicle crash. Police said Young’s vehicle lost control and struck Campbell’s vehicle on Interstate 79, Jackson Township. Both were transported for possible injury.
