SRU’s Adediwura Player of Week

SLIPPERY ROCK — Slippery Rock University senior defensive end D.J. Adediwura has been named PSAC West Defensive Player of the Week.

Adediwura had three quarterback sacks in SRU’s 40-14 win over Gannon. One of the sacks was a safety. He also had four tackles for loss. Gannon entered the game averaging 181 yards rushing per game, but had negative 9 yards rushing against The Rock.

Butler grad Lucas gets PAC honors

GROVE CITY — Butler graduate and Grove City College women’s volleyball player Gabby Lucas has been named Presidents’ Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Week.

Lucas had 63 digs in two Wolverine victories. She had 30 in a four-set win over Bethany and 33 in a win over Saint Vincent. Her 138 digs rank seventh in the PAC this season.
