The Petroleum Valley Youth Center is hosting a ribbon-cutting at 4:30 p.m. Oct. 30 to celebrate the completion of a remodeling project that made the facility accessible to people with physical impairments.

The event will feature pumpkin-painting, popcorn, candy and other refreshments. The Corners Burgers ’n Shakes in Chicora will donate ice cream.
