BC3 wins WPCC volleyball title
BUTLER TWP — Morgan Jack, Breanna Reisinger, Aslyn Pry and Madison Raypush made the all-tournament team Saturday as the Butler County Community College women’s volleyball team won the WPCC Tournament on its home court.
The Pioneers (17-2) defeated No. 4 seed Westmoreland 3-0 in the semifinals. Match scores were 25-15, 25-7, 25-10.
Jack had 37 assists, Pry 15 kills, Reisinger 13 kills, Abby Granato 8 kills and Raypush 19 digs.
BC3 faced No. 2 seed CCBC in the championship match after the latter eliminated third-seed Penn Highlands, 3-2. The Pioneers rolled to another 3-0 win. Match scores were 25-13, 25-15, 25-11.
Jack had 28 assists and five aces, Reisinger nine kills, Pry nine kills and three blocks, Raypush 23 digs
The Pioneers host the NJCAA Region 20 Championship this Saturday, playing Anne Arundel at 11 a.m. The title match is at 4 p.m.
