Mars homecoming
Mars Area School District is having its 2022 homecoming celebration from Monday, Oct. 3 through Saturday, Oct. 8. The theme of this year’s celebration is “Hollywood After Dark.”
The 2022 homecoming parade is at 5 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 7, in downtown Mars, followed by the Fightin’ Planets Homecoming Football Game against the Kiski Area Cavaliers at 7 p.m. at Mars Athletic Complex.
The homecoming queen will be crowned at halftime. At the dance on Saturday, Oct. 8, at the Mars Athletic Complex, the king will be named.
Members of the homecoming court are Luka Moran, Taylor Tumulty, Alex Jablunovsky, Kate Muchnok, Jack Dunham, Gwen Howell, Kyle McEwen, Piper Coffield, Hayden Mayer, Olivia Wilson, Carter King, Callie David, Evan Frye, Samantha Teixido, Sam Schultz, Eva Ranalli and honorary members Joel Hoster and Karola Natuzzi.
