Janet Miller
The world became brighter on Nov. 23, 1934, the day that Janet L. (Sawatsky) Miller was born. Our wife and mother, Janet, passed to her eternal home on Sept. 14, 2022, after a long and happy life. She is now living with her Lord Jesus Christ.
Janet was born in Oil City, and married Clarence “C. Wray” Miller in 1954, and lived in Butler for her adult life.
She leaves behind her husband, C. Wray; and her eight children and in-laws, including Thomas and Elisa Miller of Columbia, S.C., Carol and Michael Horneman, David and Shelley Miller, Michele and David Pastorius, Kathy and Thomas Fern, Dana and David Ellenberger, Jodi Miller and her fiancé, Brian Lewis, and Nathan and Kristina Miller; 22 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Melanie Beth; and her sisters and brothers.
Janet was a strong believer in Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior! She was an active member of Butler Assembly of God Church. She is now with her beloved Savior!
She was a devout mother, who would sacrifice all for her children and others. She loved to help the less fortunate and those in need, and she taught her children to do the same.
She will be sorely missed by her spouse, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
