Joseph Jeffrey Lichanec, 61, of Worthington, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 13, 2022.

He was born July 29, 1961, in Pittsburgh, to John and Joan Lichanec.

He worked at Napco for 30 years, and most recently at Bauer Block.

Joseph was a member of the Buffalo Valley Sportsmen’s Club and the Cowansville American Legion.

He attended Worthington High School and the Lenape Vocational-Technical School.

Joseph enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing horseshoes and cornhole.

He is survived by his wife, Melissa Lichanec; his son, David Lichanec; his daughter, Ashley Bash; his son, Sean Lichanec; his granddaughters, Embree Bash, Cambree Bash and Melanie; his brothers, Jeff (Ricki) Lichanec and John (Carrie) Lichanec; his father, John Lichanec; and his nephews, Justin and Travis Lichanec.

Joseph was preceded in death by his mother, Joan (Zanetti) Lichanec.

LICHANEC — Friends of Joseph Jeffrey Lichanec, who died Tuesday, Sept. 13, 2022, will be received from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday at F. DUANE SNYDER FUNERAL HOME in Worthington.

Additional visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Interment will be in Lawn Haven Burial Estates in Worthington.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Buffalo Valley Sportsmen’s Club in Worthington.
