Cathryn Blauser
Cathryn A. Blauser, 92, of Parker, passed away peacefully on Sept. 11, 2022, at the Good Samaritan Hospice at Concordia in Cabot.
Cathryn was born Aug. 18, 1930, in Allegheny Township, and was the daughter of the late Clarence M. and Mary Elizabeth (Borchert) Polm.
Cathryn was married to Robert E. Blauser on July 7, 1950. Bob passed away July 16, 2009.
Cathryn was a devoted housewife and mother. She also worked for many years for Dr. Clinton Coulter as his housekeeper.
She enjoyed working in her gardens of beautiful flowers and delicious vegetables. Cathryn enjoyed crafts too. Her main hobby was embroidering quilts for the entire family, and they were treasured by all.
She attended the Eau Claire United Presbyterian Church for many years.
Loved ones who survive and cherish memories of Cathryn are her children, Dr. Robert B. Blauser and his wife, Marianne, Cathy and her husband, Terry Arblaster, and Rebecca and her husband, Larry Froman.
There are seven grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren who survive Cathryn and cherish memories of her Sunday dinners and welcoming home.
Other loving survivors include her sisters, Dolores Grove, and Betty Deal and her husband, Harry; and her sister-in-law, Helen Polm. Many nieces and nephews also survive.
Cathryn was welcomed into Heaven by her parents; her husband, Bob; her brothers, Charles E. and William E. Polm; and her sister, Eva Jane Ruth.
BLAUSER — There will be a private service at the convenience of the family for Cathryn A. Blauser, who died Sunday, Sept. 11, 2022.
Burial took place at Scrubgrass Cemetery.
The LARRY E. MCKINLEY FUNERAL HOME in Clintonville is assisting the family with arrangements.
