Ruthmary Eaton, 84, of Zelienople, passed away on Saturday, Sept. 10, 2022, while under the care of Passavant Retirement Community.

Born July 7, 1938, in Altoona, she was the daughter of the late Earl Heinike and Dorothy Weiler Heinike.

Ruthmary’s greatest love was spending time with her husband, children, grandchildren and extended family. She loved spending time with family and friends at the family cottage. She also enjoyed playing cards and watching the Steelers.

Ruthmary was a member of Harmony-Zelienople United Methodist Church and her faith was always an important part of her life. She will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered.

She is survived by her beloved husband of nearly 68 years, William A. Eaton, whom she married Oct. 2, 1954; her three children, James (Kathy) Eaton of Plum Borough, Philip (Susan) Eaton of St. Petersburg, Fla., and Cori (Aaron) Dunn of Harmony; and her nine grandchildren, Matthew, Shawn, Connor, Erin, Katie, Annie, Morgan, Jordan and Rowan.

EATON — A memorial service will be held at a later date for Ruthmary Eaton, who died Saturday, Sept. 10, 2022.

Arrangements have been entrusted to BOYLAN FUNERAL HOME, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople.

Memorial donations may be made in Ruthmary’s honor to the Passavant Benevolence Fund, 105 Burgess Drive, Zelienople, PA 16063.
