The following items were collected from various police departments and district courts.
State Police, Butler
Aug. 22 — Chad W. Kolarik, 24, of Pittsburgh, was charged with a felony for device fraud and three misdemeanor thefts after police said he used a business credit card for personal reasons.
Aug. 23 — Mallory A. McCann, 27, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor counts of DUI, drug paraphernalia possession, marijuana possession and resisting police after officers said they stopped her on Second Avenue, Butler. Police said field sobriety tests showed she was impaired, and she resisted being handcuffed. Police said THC and paraphernalia was found in the vehicle, and a later blood test showed marijuana in her system.
Aug. 23 — Richard J. Williams, 44, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor DUI after police said they stopped him Aug. 5 on East Quarry Street, Butler. Police said they saw items in the vehicle consistent with heroin use, and field sobriety tests showed Williams was impaired. Police said Williams later refused to have his blood tested.
Aug. 23 — Charlie R. Fine, 23, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor DUI after police said they stopped her Aug. 13 on Walker Avenue, Butler. Police said field sobriety tests showed Fine was impaired, and a later breath test showed her blood-alcohol content at 0.116%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.
Aug. 22 — Jeffrey C. Eakin, 60, of Parker, was charged with a misdemeanor DUI after police said they stopped him Aug. 12 on East Eldorado Road, Parke Township. Police said field sobriety tests showed he was impaired, and a preliminary breath test showed the presence of alcohol.
Aug. 22 — Andrew E. Walbert, 41, of Ford City, was charged with misdemeanor DUI after police said they stopped him Aug. 20, on Route 522, Summit Township. Police said field sobriety tests showed Walbert was impaired, but he later refused to have his blood tested.
2:24 p.m. Aug. 19 — Police investigated a burglary on Thorn Run Road. Police said the culprit broke through a side door, before ransacking the home and stealing several items. Police said the accused also entered a garage and shed on the property. Anyone with information is asked to contact state police’s Butler barrack at 724-284-8100.
