DeGraaf, Lucas back for GCC volleyball

GROVE CITY — Seneca Valley graduate Anna DeGraaf and Butler graduate Gabby Lucas return as vital components to the Grove City College women’s volleyball team this season.

DeGraaf, a junior middle blocker, earned All-Presidents’ Athletic Conference honors in 2021 after leading the team with a .263 hitting percentage and 84 blocks. Lucas, a junior libero, led the Wolverines in digs as a freshman and saw extensive action in the back row last fall.

GCC volleyball begins its 50th season Friday and Saturday at the Cedar Point Tournament in Sandusky, Ohio.
