Local author to speak at Cranberry library
For the first installment of its fall adult programming series, Cranberry Public Library, 2525 Rochester Road, will host local author Abigail Drake at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 20.
Drake will discuss her “South Side Stories” series of novels, which includes “The Enchanted Garden Cafe,” “The Hocus Pocus Magic Shop,” and “The Dragonsong Law Offices.” The three-book series is set on Pittsburgh’s South Side and references many local businesses and landmarks.
The books feature quirky, eccentric characters and are distinguished by their mixture of magic and realism.
Those interested in attending the program must register in advance, either online at the library’s website or by calling the library at 724-776-9100.
