Gary Busey

CHERRY HILL, N.J. — Actor Gary Busey has been charged with sexual offenses at a New Jersey fan convention this month.

Busey, 78, was charged Friday with two counts of fourth-degree criminal sexual contact, one count of attempted criminal sexual contact and one count of harassment, Cherry Hill police said Saturday.

The charges stem from offenses at the annual Monster Mania Convention at the Doubletree Hotel on Aug. 12-14 in Cherry Hill, police said.

Busey, who lives in Malibu, Calif., was scheduled as a featured guest for all three days of the event.

Busey is widely known as a character actor, largely in supporting roles, though he came to attention and was nominated for an Oscar for best actor for playing the title role in the 1978 film “The Buddy Holly Story.”

Scott Disick

LOS ANGELES — Reality TV star Scott Disick got into a car crash on Sunday but apparently walked away with minor injuries.

According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, “The Kardashians” star was involved in a single-car wreck on Prado De La Felicidad in Calabasas on Sunday. He was the only person in the car at the time.

The Sheriff’s Department said the primary cause of the crash was speed and that alcohol was not a factor.

“Mr. Disick suffered minor, non-life threatening injuries and declined medical treatment. He was picked up from the scene by family members and his vehicle was towed away per his request,” police said.

Social media posts indicate that Disick has recently completed a stay in a Malibu rehab facility.

Disick reportedly was driving in the Oaks neighborhood and is believed to have smashed into a stone mailbox. His injuries include a cut on his head.

Disick, a fixture on E’s “Keeping Up With the Kardashians,” is the former partner of reality star Kourtney Kardashian, with whom he shares three children.

Sir Elton John

Britney Spears’ first release since she was released from a 13-year legal arrangement that placed her father as her conservator is about to hit the digital streaming universe — and she’ll be joined by none other than Sir Elton John.

On Friday, the British singer announced that the duo’s highly anticipated duet will drop on Aug. 26.

“Hold Me Closer,” John’s post says, next to a photo of the two pop culture giants as young kids — Spears wearing a pink tutu, and John sitting by a piano.

The soon-to-be-released duet will be a new take on John’s 1971 classic “Tiny Dancer” — and it will also be Spears’ first official new release in nearly six years.

Although rumors about a possible collaboration involving the two had circulated social media timelines in recent weeks, it wasn’t until earlier this month that John confirmed that “Hold Me Closer” was indeed happening.

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez

Wedding bells are ringing — again — for Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez, who tied the knot at a formal ceremony in Georgia over the weekend after a surprise wedding in Las Vegas.

In July, the celebrity power couple obtained a marriage license in Clark County, Nevada, three months after getting engaged for the second time. On Saturday, Affleck, 50, and Lopez, 53, made their union extra official at a private affair attended by their friends and family.

The “Gone Girl” actor and the “Let’s Get Loud” singer were previously betrothed in the early 2000s before calling off their engagement and going their separate ways. Last spring, however, the former flames rekindled their romance for Bennifer 2.0.

“We did it. Love is beautiful. Love is kind. And it turns out love is patient. Twenty years patient,” Lopez wrote in her “On the JLo” newsletter shortly after marrying Affleck in Vegas last month.

“Love is a great thing, maybe the best of things — and worth waiting for.”

The couple’s second wedding was held at Affleck’s estate in Riceboro, Georgia — where they reportedly planned to marry after getting engaged for the first time in 2002.

Among the wedding guests — dressed in all white — were Affleck’s longtime friend and creative partner Matt Damon, with wife Luciana Barroso. Also in attendance were filmmaker Kevin Smith and wife Jennifer Schwalbach Smith; actor Jason Mewes and wife Jordan Monsanto; and actor Pia Miller and her husband, Hollywood talent agent Patrick Whitesell, according to People.

Affleck’s children with ex-wife Jennifer Garner were included in the ceremony as well.

Notably absent from the festivities was Affleck’s brother, the actor Casey Affleck.

After their Vegas wedding, Affleck and Lopez honeymooned in Paris, where they celebrated the “On the Floor” singer’s birthday with a romantic dinner near the Eiffel Tower.
