Police Reports

The following items were collected from various police departments and district courts:

Adams Twp

Aug. 9 — Joseph B. Ion, 60, of Valencia, was charged with damaging a vehicle and two misdemeanors for driving under the influence after police said he fled the scene after being involved in a vehicle crash July 30. Police said field sobriety tests showed he was impaired, and a later blood test showed Ion’s blood-alcohol level at 0.141%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.

Butler Twp

Aug. 10 — Brandyn L. Gutauskas, 29, of Lyndora, was charged with two counts of misdemeanor theft after police said he took $250 from his mother via the app Cash App.

Aug. 9 — Allison Schnur, 20, of Butler and Candace Stitt, 35, of Prospect, were involved in a vehicle crash at the intersection of Whitestown and Duffy roads, according to police. Stitt and two passengers were injured as a result of the crash but were not transported, police said.

Jackson Twp

Aug. 9 — Shawna L. Fulton, 51, of Ambridge, was charged with misdemeanors for driving with a suspended license and for expired vehicle registration after police said they stopped her on Route 68.

Aug. 8 — Kevin D. Letterle, 37, of Gibsonia, was charged with use and possession of drug paraphernalia and a summary charge of public drunkenness after police said he was found lying on the roadway July 30 on Rock Lake Drive. Police said Letterle allegedly had five hypodermic needles, two crack pipes, ten stamp bags of heroin and ten empty stamp bags in his possession.

State police, Butler

Aug. 10 — April L. Lyons, 42, of Butler, was charged with felony retail theft and misdemeanors for use and possession of drug paraphernalia after police said she left Boscov’s in Center Township with $126 worth of merchandise without paying for it. Police said suspected methamphetamine and a hypodermic needle were also found in her bag.

Aug. 10 — Jesse J. Linzinger, 20, of Butler, was charged with four misdemeanor DUIs and several traffic citations after police said they stopped him July 5 on Fairview Lane, Center Township. Police said field sobriety tests showed he was impaired, and a later blood test showed Linzinger’s blood-alcohol content level at 0.042% with traces of marijuana in his system.

Aug. 9 — Joshua A. Lamp, 47, of Butler, was involved in a vehicle crash Aug. 9 on Valencia Road, Forward Township. Police said he left the roadway and struck a guardrail. Lamp was transported to Butler Memorial Hospital for his injuries by Quality EMS.

Aug. 8 — Adam D. Dunkle, 41, of Butler, was charged with a misdemeanor DUI after police said he was found passed out in his vehicle Aug. 8 on Nickel Road and Baxter Lane in Center Township. Police said field sobriety tests showed he was impaired.

Aug. 8 — Taylor M. Barton, 21, of Gibsonia, was charged with three misdemeanor DUIs after police said they stopped her April 30 in Slippery Rock Township. Police said field sobriety tests showed she was impaired.

Aug. 8 — Norman D. Bindernagel, 43, of Petrolia, was charged with misdemeanors for terroristic threats and harassment after police said he sent multiple text messages to his wife threatening to kill her.

Aug. 8 — Robert C. Blystone, 34, of Butler, was involved in a vehicle crash Aug. 8 on Muddy Creek Drive, Brady Township. Police said he lost control of the vehicle and landed in a ditch, causing damage to his vehicle. Blystone was transported to Butler Memorial Hospital for injuries by Slippery Rock Volunteer Fire Company and Rescue Team’s ambulance.
