Brown scores major victory

WASHINGTON, Pa.— Slippery Rock resident Brady Brown drove Open Bar to victory in a split of the $40,000 Arden Downs Grand Circuit stake during harness racing action Friday at Hollywood Casino at The Meadows.

The win was Open Bar’s first in four career starts. The horse is trained by Steve Schoeffel of Evans City and is owned by Virginia and Kathy Schoeffel, Marian Schilling and Dan Goehle.
